Mosquito Old Town Apartments term & Conditions:
Mosquito Old Town Apartments Housing Rules and Regulations apply to all residents, dependants, or other occupants of the apartment housing units, as well as visitors and guests. All residents are expected to be familiar with and abide by the terms and conditions of the apartment housing contract.
1. Check-in time
Mosquito Old Town Apartments do not have a reception desk on location. The apartment check-in starts at 2 PM.
The exact time of check-in should be arranged and confirmed no later than 24 hours ahead of the customer's planned arrival, by email or phone.
2. Check out time
Please check out by 11 am. Let us know at least 12 hours in advance about your check out time so that we can send someone over to collect the keys. If you are checking out early, you can leave your keys at our key drop off box located on the ground floor next to the entrance door.
If the customer does not check out at the agreed-upon time, we will be authorized to remove all belongings of the customer from the apartment.
3. Responsibility for the apartments
Our guests are obliged to make sure that any time they leave the apartment, the door is properly locked and water and lights are turned off. Taking the apartment's equipment outside of the apartment is prohibited.
In case of damage to the apartment, the guest is required to pay compensation to fully cover the value of losses. Payment must be done before departure directly to the staff member.
4. House Rules
Guests are obligated to obey the principles of good neighborhood, especially the rule of silence between the hours of 10 in the evening and 7 in the morning. That includes the apartment and the staircase area. Guests who do not respect these rules may be asked to leave the apartment immediately with no refund.
Organizing any kind of parties and meetings that could be inconvenient for other neighbors is strictly prohibited.
It is forbidden to accommodate more people then it was stated in the reservation.
Guests are obligated to maintain the apartment in the same condition as it was when they arrived. In case of damage to the apartment, the guest is required to pay compensation to fully cover the value of losses. Payment must be made before departure.
6. Smoking policy
Smoking is not allowed in our apartments ( smoke detectors on duty ) If you break this rule you will be charged an additional fee, the equivalent of the standard price of a one night stay at the apartment, for the thorough cleaning of the apartment.
If you are staying with us for longer than 7 days, there is a complimentary cleaning service available – just let us know 24 hours in advance to set up the date and hour.
8.Tours we offer
We offer tours to Auschwitz- Birkenau and the Salt Mine, with pick up just 3 min walk from the apartments. We can also organize airport transfers. If you would like to book it, please send us an email or give us a call.
Our WI-FI password is written on the information board next to the entrance door.
In the case of loss of the apartment's key, the guest will be charged 100 PLN per each key set.
11. Security deposit
During check-in, the guest is obligated to leave a deposit of 600PLN in cash or credit card pre-authorization, in case of damage to the apartment the occurs during the guest's stay. This cost will be calculated by us and will be the equivalent of repairing or replacing damaged items. The deposit will be returned in full at check-out if no such damage to the apartment has occurred.
Full payment must be made on the arrival day before or during the check-in. We accept payment by cash or card. In the case of the self-check-in, there is a full prepayment required to get detailed instructions on how to get to the apartment.
13. Cancelation Policy
Our apartments have a 24-hours cancellation policy. Guests who do not cancel 24 hours in advance will be charged for the first night of their stay. Remember cancellations are accepted only by email or booking agent at least 24 hours in advance (till 00.01 AM one day before your arrival).
We reserve the right to preauthorize the guest's credit card for the first night of the accommodation at any time after the reservation was made, in order to check if the credit card details provided are correct. It is a standard procedure in the hotel business. It is NOT a charge. It is a blockage of the funds on your account for up to 14 days (depending on your bank).
